Ditto Mobile App Build.

The build practice for offline-capable, edge-ready applications using Ditto's local-first sync.

$cat what-it-is.md

What it is.

Frontline, field, and in-store operations need applications that keep working when the network does not. We partner with Ditto to build production mobile and edge applications on local-first sync — peer-to-peer mesh, conflict-tolerant data, opportunistic cloud. Agentic tooling under engineer direction does the implementation; the engagement is the set of calls that decide whether it holds up in a warehouse or on an aircraft turnaround — the data model and sync scopes, how conflicts resolve when two devices edited the same record offline, the transport mix across BLE, Wi-Fi Direct, and LAN, and how the mesh behaves as device count climbs from ten to a thousand.

$cat engagement-model.md

How we engage.

Three phases. Each phase ends when its decisions are made and proven.

1
Scoping and blueprint

Offline-critical workflows, SLAs, compliance constraints, pilot scope, local-first architecture. The phase resolves when the architecture and the conflict model are decided, not deferred into the build.

2
Build

SDK integration, data and sync design, mesh strategy, conflict-tolerant UX, enterprise integration, CI/CD. Implementation by agentic tooling under engineer direction, in tight review loops so the consequential calls are checked frequently against real device behavior. The phase resolves when the application does what the blueprint said it must.

3
Field validation and handoff

Hardening, battery and performance validation under realistic load, ops handover, scale plan. The phase resolves when your team can run and extend it without us.

Who this is for.

Enterprises with deskless or edge operations (retail, aviation and transport, logistics, healthcare, public sector) where intermittent connectivity is the norm. Teams whose existing client-server architecture can't deliver the offline experience users need. Organizations adopting Ditto and wanting an engineering partner for the first production application. Regulated environments with auditable-sync and data-residency requirements.

$cat why-quest1.md

Why Quest1.

Co-sell partners with Ditto and one of their go-to engineering partners for production deployments. Engineers trained directly with the Ditto team. Production Ditto-enabled applications shipped in regulated environments.
