Ditto Edge Sync Validation.
A structured test program to de-risk Ditto-enabled applications across devices, transports, topologies, and operating systems before wide deployment.
What it is.
Peer-to-peer, mesh-based applications face a combinatorial test surface. Device models, OS versions, transports (BLE, P2P Wi-Fi, LAN), mesh sizes, and offline-online transitions all interact in ways traditional client-server testing doesn't surface. Scenario authoring and execution are done by agentic tooling under engineer direction. What determines whether the application is safe to ship is not the number of test runs: it is which combinations in that surface actually carry risk, what "converged" means under concurrent edits, and which defects are launch-blocking versus tolerable. That judgment is the work. The deliverable is a certified application, the test harness for ongoing use, and a defect log with severity and remediation guidance.
How we engage.
Three phases. Each phase ends when its decisions are made and proven.
Device, OS, and transport matrix sized to the fleet you actually deploy to; scenario prioritization; automation harness; network impairment and mobility configuration. The phase resolves when the matrix reflects real deployment risk, not every theoretical combination.
Scenario runs, daily defect triage, fix and re-test loops, coverage expanded where emerging risk warrants it. The phase resolves when the risk areas are covered and the defect picture is stable.
Final report, go/no-go guidance, risk register, remediation plan.
What you get.
Who this is for.
Teams preparing wide rollout of Ditto-enabled applications where downtime is unacceptable (stores, aircraft turnarounds, field maintenance, clinical settings). Organizations whose internal QA doesn't have specialized P2P or mesh testing capability. Companies with regulated or safety-critical use cases where test evidence has to hold up to audit.
Why Quest1.
Co-sell partners with Ditto, with test capability built specifically for peer-to-peer mesh applications. Device lab coverage, network impairment tooling, direct feedback loops with Ditto engineering.
